A native of western New York, Carrie Ames resides in South Ripley, NY, a small town a stone's throw from Lake Erie.Inspired while playing a round on the golf course with her husband Andy, Carrie couldn't help but notice the rushing of the wind through the leaves on the trees. The sound was so great, and the leaves shimmered so beautifully in the sunlight, it was as though the trees were praising God!Carrie was reminded of Luke 19:40: "But He answered and said to them, 'I tell you that if these [people] should keep silent, the stones would immediately cry out.'" Inspired, Carrie thought, If people won't praise God, who or what will? Hence, this story unfolded, along with the desire to teach children how and why we praise God.
