A delightful romp around farms through the seasons - and the many types of boots that are needed to get the job done
Lisl H. Detlefsen is the author of a growing number of picture books. Her titles about agriculture include TIME FOR CRANBERRIES, illustrated by Jed Henry, and RIGHT THIS VERY MINUTE, her first book with illustrator Renée Kurilla. Lisl lives on a family-owned and operated cranberry marsh in central Wisconsin with her husband, two sons, two cats, and an ever-changing collection of farm boots for all seasons. Renée Kurilla is the illustrator of many books for children, including Chicks Rule!, Chicks Rock!, and Right This Very Minute: a table-to-farm book about food and farming. She is the author-illustrator of One Springy, Singy Day. Renée was a lead artist at FableVision Studios for nearly ten years. She lives just south of Boston with her family.
