William Francis Sturner, Ph.D., is the author of fourteen books, father of two children, playmate of six grandchildren, lover of art and music, psychotherapist and a very spirited and joyful presenter and facilitator. Raised as a Roman Catholic, he gradually investigated other religious perspectives before devoting himself to the study of mystical traditions and the practice of universal spirituality. His work combines the perspective of growing up in the Bronx with the disciplines of Jungian, Gestalt and spiritual psychology. His university appointments have included professorships at four American universities (Oakland, SUNY College-Buffalo, Massachusetts and Maine) and vice presidencies at two (Oakland and Buffalo State). He has also been awarded visiting appointments at the universities of Limerick, Ireland; Istanbul Technical, Turkey; Santiago de Compostela, Spain; and Moscow State, Russia. Sturner continues to offer workshops and consulting throughout the USA, Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Latin America, and is a regular at international conferences on creativity, innovation and spirituality. His degrees include a B.S.S, from Fordham University (1957), a Masters in Communications from the University of Wisconsin (1960), a Ph.D. in Political and Organizational Studies at Fordham University (1965), and a Post Doctoral Certificate in Gestalt Psychology from the Gestalt Institute of Cleveland (1973). Sturner's background includes forty years of in-depth studies in Jungian Psychology - with such programs as the Jungian Center in Kusnacht, Switzerland; the New York Institute in Jungian Studies; and International Studies in Jungian Psychology (NH and VT). He moved has moved his 'Open heart Sanctuary' from East Aurora, NY to the Sarasota-Nokomis area of Florida where he devotes his energies to communing with nature, offering workshops on creative and spiritual development, investigating mystical traditions, and writing books that express the love and compassion of Universal Spirituality (US). His earliest books on leadership, organizational development and personal change have given way gave to volumes on mythic tales, Jungian interpretations of creation, and the spiritual traditions that explore the healing arts and the processes of reincarnation. His most recent books focus on spirituality, Angels, the Sacred Family and the continuing contributions of Yeshua and Mother Mary, The Master Souls.
