Marlene Houghton trained and qualified as a medical personnel assistant, and she has over twenty years of experience working with doctors in top London teaching hospitals, in all medical specialities. After leaving her career in orthodox medicine, Marlene became qualified in herbalism, both at certificate and higher international diploma levels.Now a consultant member of the British Astrological and Psychic Society (BAPS), Marlene has studied astrology, aromatherapy, homoeopathy and nutritional therapy with the Institute of Optimum Nutrition. She is now a teacher and spiritual counsellor, and has practised Hatha Yoga for the past twenty-five years. Her philosophy is that only the holistic path leads to true health.
